London’s best free events from Weds 27th Aug - Tues 2nd Sept

Hey Cheapskater! 👋

Can you believe it’s the end of the summer holidays already? Where did the time go?!? As you prepare to send your wee ones back to school or nursery, make sure you enjoy the final few days with the best free activities London has to offer.

This’ll be the last Cheapskate Kids for a while (😢) so we’d love to hear your thoughts. Let us know if you’ve been to any events we’ve recommended, or if there’s anything particular you’d like to see more of – every bit of feedback helps us improve! And you’ll find us back in your inboxes in autumn, just in time for the October half term.

We also want to remind you of some of the amazing free-to-enter competitions we’ve featured these past six weeks. From dinosaur days out at Jurassic World to partying on Brighton beach with Raver Tots, we’re so proud to be able to help families live life to the full, no matter their finances.

If you know anyone who would benefit from knowing about us then please spread the word using your personalised referral code: {{rp_refer_url}}. You’ll have our eternal gratitude and appreciation! 🩵

Have a wonderful final few days of the summer hols!

To be in with a chance of winning a board , simply refer a friend to Cheapskate Kids by sending them this link (it contains your personalised referral code): {{rp_refer_url}}.

Once they’ve signed up, you’ll be entered into the draw, & we’ll pick one lucky winner at random. Good luck!

🥘 There are some great kids-go-free offers to look out for in Sept! For instance, the Barnet Food Festival at the RAF Museum (billed as “the tastiest weekend in town”) is free for kids (& £10 for adults).

🏛️ That weekend is definitely one to mark in your calendars, because it’s also the start of the Open House festival in buildings around the City of London – it can be an overwhelming event with kids, so they’re offering family-specific activities inspired by the borough’s architecture at Guildhall Art Gallery.

😷 Looking to learn child health & lifesaving skills in a supportive, friendly environment? ABC Parents is providing free child first aid courses to parents & carers in Enfield & Haringey (& possibly further afield too). See upcoming courses here.
